ANNUAL SOCIAL
His Majesty’s Theatre presented a very animated appearance last night on tlio occasion of the annual social of the St. Patrick’s branch of the H.A.C.B.S. The stage was very prettily decorated, and in the centre was an ornamental device, heaving the insignia of tlio order, above the word “Welcome.” About 100 couples were present, and the Hour, which had undergone a special preparation, was in excellent condition for dancing. Excellent music w >•'* given by Messrs Vita Bros, and 'Mr. Wootten, and the supper provided was thoroughly enjoyed. Bros. J. J. Martin, M. Sogedin, and W. Haekett were callable and efficient M.-C.'s. A feature of the entertainment was the performance of the Grand '•March, under the direction of i.Bro. 'M. Sogedin. Tho different evolutions in tlio'Mnroh were skilfully carried out, the colors of the ladies’ dresses and the vivid sashes of :ho Order worn by the gentlemen blending harmoniously and forming a strikingly pretty picture.
