E I? ICS,SON—ANDERSON. A/ wedding of considerable local interest took place at “Tho Rain Grey street, yesterday afternoon, when Mifcfc Ida Anderson was united to Air. U. W. Ericsson, of Messrs Siberiaw and Co.’s staff, the Rev. Father Lano officiating.. The brides-, maids wero Alissca Annie and Agnes Anderson, sisters of tho bride, while flic bridegroom was attended by Alossrs Fred, Armstrong, as best man, and 'William Anderson, as groomsman. The bride was prettily attired, in croarn silk, henganne, trimmed with silk passementioro satin .and chiffon, ; The skirt was beautifully trimmed with true lover’s knots and chifion roses. Aliiss Jessie Anderson wore biuo glace silk, with velvet trimmings to match, and cream silk Maltose Jacc, and the other bridesmaids wero dressed in pretty gowns of white spotted muslin. The brideV mother wore a handsome black silk dress, with insertion- trimmings. 'J'lic bridegroom’s gift to the brido consisted- of a gold dagger brooch set with rubies and pearls and he also presented handsome gold brooches to the bridesmaids. Tho bride s present to the bridegroom was a gold sovereign case and match-box combined, suitably engraved. The presents to the pair were very humorous, and included a silver tea and ceifeo service and a set'or carvers from the bridegroom’s fellow employces at -Messrs Shicrlaw and Co. s.
