KIA KAHA 2 v. TE RAU nil
Tho hockey competition matches weren 'continued on the Domain yesterday. Tilie above teams met first, on the No. 1 ground, and after-a good game Kia Kaha wore victorious •by 2 goals to -none. Te Ran had a very weak team, but played surpriu.ngl.y '.well, having hard luck in not scoring on several occasions.-- Garrett, Grieve,’ Bright-*- and Tabernacle .played well for the winners, and Pine’ Heke, Hjikiwiyi, and Davy showed good form for Te Rap. Air.’ Armstrong (City), was the referee. AVEST END 4 r. CITY -1. •At the conclusion of the first-match AVest End and City took the field. This was also an excellent gaihe, but A\ r est End eventually won rather easily by 4 goals to 1. Roderick, Ato Lachlan, Nasmith, and Olym were in good form for the winners, and for City. Doyle, Armstrong, .Grinlinton, and Friar worked hard to avoid defeat.
