Prior to Dr. Gerard Smith’s lecture there aa- ill be A-ocal and instrumental items by favorite'performers. The -magnificent colored slides brought from Egypt by Dr. Smith, who travelled very extensively in that wonderful land ris a member of the Egypt Exploration (society, will create something of a sensation. Tins committee express the hope tint, whilst young folk Avill not- be brougat to the tea this evening, parents avill see that they come to the limelight .lecture at 8 o’clock. The charge for admission this <veuing, for defraying the heavy cost, is one shilling for adults, -young people sixpence (for the lecture only). The promoters hope that they.hive made it clear that, all residents, Avhether claiming allegiance to the Church of England or not, are heartilv Aveleome to the parish tea and entertainment.
