BAKE ITS OWN BREAD. Press Association. WELLINGTON, June 2. It has been decided by the Hospital Trustees, on the recommendation of the House Committeee, that tenders he called for the building of a baker’s oven at the, hospital m order that the bread consumed by the patients and staff may be made on the premises. Figures placed before tho Trustees at to-day’s meeting A\-ere considered to justify this action. It was shown that the usual number of patients in the hospital aars from 280 to 300, and the staff numbered from 100 to 120, the consumption of. bread being about 309 loaves uer dav.
