Alessrs Anderson and Sheridan have combined forces on this occasion, and will place before the Gisborne playgoers a production which is sald to be most admirably staged, over 100 performers being engaged. Comedians, vocalists, specialty artacrobats, and ballerinas are included. Ihe pictures were well varied, and indiuied a fine colored film, entitled J lie Alagic Cigar-box,” an well- as humorous incidents entitled, “Nervy and the Cop ’t “The Drunken Alotor Cyclist,” and “The Stilt Race.” In the musical portion of the entertainment Miss Ida Goodwill and liettio Resedale sang two catchy songs, ent'tled Its Moving Day” and “Fishing, the latter song causing roars of laughter, and the audience to demand an encore. Air. Arthur Blanchard gave a clever sleight-of-hand demonotration, bis tricks with handkerchiefs and cards completely mvstifvmg the audience. The Blanchards contributed a sketch, introducing some clever bell-ringing and musical lnsti ament playing. and were accorded an encore.
The company will probably pay a. return visit t-o Gisborne towards‘the end of the year. ~
