THE AIDING AND ABETTING CLAUSE TO BE TESTED. Press Association. TI'MARU, May 5. Mr Pryor, secretary to the New Zealand Employers Federation, passing through Christchurch to Timaru to-day, met the directors of the Blackball Coal Company and received their reply to an offer made by the Advisory Board of the Federation. This was that if the Government- would not take action against the unions that had voted contributions to the strike fund of the Blackball miners, the Federation would employ counsel and pay all expenses if the Company took action. The directors accepted this offer, and thcli question whether such contribution is an offence as aiding and abetting a strike will be tested in a court of law.
