SOUTH ISLAND GRAND LODGE. Press Association. AVELLINGTON. April 19; Tlio South Island Grand Orange Lodge held its last meeting, prior to amalgamation with the North Island, yesterday. The lodge was raised to tho P.A.P. degree. The grand secretary of Australia wrote for statistics, owing to the lodge’s application for a new grant in connection with the amalgamation. Applications for ladies’ lodge, warrants were received from Nelson, Timnni, and Kaitangata. It was decided to prepare a history of Orangeism in the Dominion. The balance still showed a credit of £2O.
