HOCKEY,
An enthusiastic meeting of .the hockey players of the district wa* held in tho Royal Hotel last night, with Mr. Pavitt in the chair. After discussion it was resolved! to havo four teams, as last'season, viz., City, To Ran, West End, and Kia Kalin. Each of the clubs will hold their meetings beforo tho 24th inst., when tho annual meeting of the association will be held. A committee was •appointed to meet the Rugby Union to mako arrangements about tho grounds.
