BILLIARDS.
Last night W. Forrest and J. Nugent wore tho contestants in the championship competition at the Victoria Saloon. The match provided one of tho most exciting contests, Nugent winning by tlie narrow margin of one point. Both competitors played in excellent form, and woro accorded an ovation at tho close.
