ENGLAND V. N.S.W. VISITORS MAKE A BAD START. ALL OUT FOR 298. A GOOD BOWLING PERFORMANCE. (Received Feb. 11, 9.31 p.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 14. England commenced the return match against New South Wales in tine weather, and on a good wicket. The visitors made a poor start, three wickets being down for 25. Hutchings and Hardstaff for the fourth wicket put on SO runs. Hutchings shaped -brilliantly, but gave a chance at- 45. Young played his best innings of the tour, and gave no chance. Jones was missed no less than three times off Minnett. The latter took 7 wickets for 113, a splendid performance for a colt making Ills first appearance- ill big cricket.
