The licensee of the Ormond Hotel announces by advertisement in this issue that owing to alterations to the building no sleeping accommodation is available for the public; but special arrangements have been made lor drovers. In to-day’s supplement Mr. C. G. Bloore has an advertisement respecting a house for sale in Palmerston road, suitable for a. man. in business wanting a handy home. The Lynda Soap Coy has a new advertisement detailing their special market for soaps. The manager of Kioro station announces by advertisement that he has 2500 weaners for sale. A smart station hand, a reliable fencer, and a young man to make himself generally useful are advertised for. A new list of properties for «ale is advertised in this issue by Messrs. J. Peckover and Co. A sale of poultry, produce, and fruit will be held in the Lowe-street Mart to-day at 11 a.m. by Messrs. F. S. Malcolm and Co., and at noon a- sale of a house of furniture will lie held. Air. E. W. B. Horna,brook, the well-known stock -and share broker of Wellington, who is promoting the Gracefield Syndicate, which is being formed to purchase 217) acres in the suburbs of Wellington to cut up and offer to the public, arrives from (South this morning, and will meet investors at Air. Lissant Clayton’s office.
