BUSINESS NOTES.
A reliable boy for an office is wanted. The Gisborne Sheepfarmers’ Frozen Meat Company want a clerk. Full details are given in another column of the sale of the Marainanga Estate to be held in the Town Hall, Wellington, on January loth, by Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co., in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams. At their mart at 11 o’clock this morning Messrs F. S. Malcolm and Co. will hold a sale of poultry, produce and fruit. A sale of furniture will follow. In another column the Alpha Sawmills Co. gives notice of rises in juices of timber. Mr. E. Burch has a notice in tin’s issue regarding sweeping chimneys and cleaning tallies. Attention is directed to the change of advertisement re the Federal Cafe. Mr. A.' J. Rusher, the proprietor, has had the rooms thoroughly renovated throughout, and patrons can now roly on obtaining meals at all hours at shortest- possible notice. There is a nice, cosy room, designed in excellent taste, especially for ladies, while there are also three conveniently-sized dining-rooms where guests can secure privacy. The kitchen is large and lye M-ventilated, and fitted with all tho most approved appliances for turning out meals with promptness and despatch. The Federal Cafe makes a specialty of suppers, and a supply of -fresh fish is on hand each day direct from the trawler. In connection with th<Cafe, Mr. Rusher runs a fish mart next door. Cleanliness is a feature of the Cafe, everything being spotlessly clean throughout.
