Air. Cecil Lewis, District Valuer, leaves oil Saturday for Auckland, where lie will make holiday for a fortnight. Although not playing he will attend the howling tournament to open on January 6th. Mr. jR. S. Chilton is at present on a business visit to Dunedin.
Mr. H. A. AA’yliter Blathwavt, accompanied by Ariss AI. Blatliwayt, lias been on a visit to Gisborne. He leaves to-morrow morning for Auckland, where lie attends a Native school conference as a South Island deleg ite.
