NEW ZEALAND READY TO JOIN IN. ' AMERICAN SERVICE SUBSIDY. Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 5. Sir Joseph Ward returned to Wellington from Auckland to-niglit. Sir Joseph states there is no new development in regard to the All-Red mail service. The New Zealand Government some time ago advised the High Commissioner that it was prepared to join in a satisfactory service with Canada and Australia. The project has not made any advance so far. . As to the American steam service, the Oceanit Company’ is still awaiting the decision of the United States Government with regard to extending the subsidies under which it previously ran to New Zealand. Nothing has been heard on this point.
