THE MART, LOWE STREET.
IMPORTANT ANNO UN CEMENTS
Messrs. F. S. Malcolm and Co. are advertising two interesting furniture sales and sale of unredeemed .pledges in to-day’s issue. They would like it widely known, that they much prefer to sell in t'lieir own* n ell-ven-tilated and roomy mart, .to selling in a private home, where the ma unitv ot rooms are small and badly ventilated, and where as a rule, the buyers aro quite unablo to see what tliev bid for. The Lowe street mart on the contrary, is beautifully lighted, well ventilated, roomy enough to seat three or four hundred buyers. AVith such advantages, attending an auction sale becomes a real pleasure. The new firm also desire to- express their gratification at the large'and increasing number of ladies who attend their sales in Gisborne and would cordially anil specially invite any who have a funded'orejudice against public auctions to* attend Friday’s sale and judge far themselves.
