The Synod met this-morning in pastoral session. Tlio Revs. A. Mcßean and N. H. Papakakura were recommended for ordination.' The Revs. A. O. Randerson and R. A. AVyllie passed in- three yoars. 31r. J.. Winiata was recommended for a year’s training in the-Three Kings College with a view to his becoming a candidate for the Native ministry. With the signing of the journal the Sync4l was brought to a close.
