The Hunter Valley got a fall of over 2 inches, and the South Coast over .1 inch. The drought has broken, though more, ‘rain is wanted to thoroughly soak the ground. MELBOURNE, Nov. 4. The rain has greatly improved the crop and dairy prospects. A steady rain fell all the afternoon, but the weather is clearing, and promises to be fine for Cup day.
