SHOW REPORTING.

(To the Editor.) ,Sir, —In your report of the Show results in this mornings paper 1 notice tlia4 you have adopted the practice of giving the number of entries in the majority of the classes. This is to be commended,-as merely mentioning the first *~and second prize taker gives the outside public no indication as to what competition the. successful winners have had to compete against. There may be only one or two entries, or there may he twenty.—l am, Gisborne, Oct. 24.
