CONTRADICTION
[To the Editor.] Sir, —I would like to state through your columns that All*. Harry l’earco has not stated the facts accurately as regards his contradiction published iu this morning’s issue. Not only did Air. I'oarce promise to give an exhibition of wrestling at the Barraba Buckjumpers 1 show, but lie actually wrote the handbill which was printed by the Times, and bus since been distributed. After writing the letter ot contradiction Air. Pearce again called on the manager of the Barraba Buckjumpers, and requested that lie might use our canvas to give an exhibition on Friday night. Needless to say, his request was not granted. Trusting that in fairness you will publish the true laets ol the case,— 1 am, etc., UCITTAA’ARK. Gisborne, Oct. 24.
