ARBITRATION COURT FINES.

(Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 3. A return wa3 presented to Parliament to-day giving particulars of cases in which lilies were .inflioted upon employers .by the Arbitration Court, and which are still outstanding . and unpaid. There aro in all 44 cases mentioned, and ill most of these there seems lititlo chance that the fines will be paid. In several cases distress warrants have been issued, but in the words of the return there is “nothing to seize.” In several instances tlio offenders have been declared bankrupt, and in others they havo “left the colony” or “cannot bo found.”
