BARQUE EMPREZA MISSING.
NOT SEEN FOB-THREE WEEKS, Press Association. I AUCKLAND, Oct. 2. Tho barquo Empreza, owned by I Messrs. J. J. Craig, Ltd., of Auckland, is missing, and some anxiety is I •being felt regarding the vessel and I her crow. The barque, under the command of Captain Goertz, late mate of the I Han da Isle, sailed from Auckland I on August 19, and called in at AVhan- I garei, where she loaded 320 tons of I coal for Kaipara. Tho barque sailed from AAfinangarei I on September 6, and was sighted off 1 Alan goal ui on September 16 by Cap- I tain Matheson, of the barque Aide- I baran, bound from Newcastle to Auckland. On September 19 the ligbtkeeper I at Capo Maria Van Diemen reported I that the Empreza passed south at 1 I p.m. on that date. I No tidings have since then been re- I ■ceived of the vessel. I
