Of A large circle of friends were griev- I; ed to hear yesterday of the death, I that morning, of Airs. Craill, wife I of Air. Harry Craill, manager of Mr. 1 1 J. Clark’s Opou station. Mrs. Craill I had been making a good recovery I; from a recent operation, but unhappily fell a victim to a chill, and I succumbed to pneumonia after aI 1 week’s illness. The deceased lady I ; was a daughter of the late Air. Alex'. I . Robb, and leaves a family .of four I daughters. I . Air. F. Allen, general manager of I tho Commercial Union Assurance J ' Company, is resigning his office, as I he has reached tho age limit. It is I tho intention of tho New Zealand I , agents to tender him a valedictory I J dinner and to make a presentation to I ' limp : Air. A. Donald, of the head office I | of fhe Dexiartment of Labor, will I relieve Air. J.
