PERSONAL.
The Rev. J. C. Jamieson, who has recently been delivering addresses in Gisborne, leaves on Saturday for 11atawhero, where- he will endeavor to form a Bible-class, and will also address public meetings. When this mission is concluded Air. Jamieson will leave for Auckland. Private advice was received in Gisborne yesterday of the death of Mrs. J. Holden, of Hawke’s Bay, mother of Air. T. Holden, Gisborne. Constable Hancox, who has boon in Gisborne for the past six years, has been appointed to the charge of the station at Okarito, Westland, for which place ho will leave at an earldate.
Air. AT. H. •Clarke, who has bi-e: manager of the Ivia Ora Butter Factory over since the inauguration of tho business seven years ago, has resigned his position to go into the grocery trade, having bought a local business. Air. Clarke will be succeeded by Air. Newitt, of Kaponga, Taranaki.
