GOLF.

The first bogey competition of the season commenced in fine weather. Tho following cards were handed in: J. Curtis 30, 7 up; G. Smith 36, 2 up; G. Willock 10, square; W. Buckendge 12, square; A. Coleman 18, 1 down; R. U. Burke 15, 4 down; J. H. Bull 5, 8 down; W. J. Neill 12, 8 down; W. F. Anderson 18, 9 down. On Saturday next- it is suggested to hold a teams match, President v. Captain, and the names of players able to take part are invited. Tho tournament has nearly been brought to a close now. In the B. W. Anderson plays J. O’Donnell, and W. L. Coleman plays W. G. Evans, the winner in each case playing for the final. In tho A, Pare Keiha plays D. R. Murray, and the winner meets G. Willock in the final. The Committee hopes to get both finals through this month.
