THE PROFESSIONAL TEAM. SYDNEY, August G. A special meeting of the Now South Wales Rugby Union will bo held tomorrow evening, when it is understood an agreement will bo arrived at whereby players in Saturday’s match will bo asked to sign a declaration to the effect that they do not intend to take part in a match against N.Z. professionals. Several home players are said to have promised to tako part in a professional carnival. Tho manager of the N.Z. team says ho has no intention of asking hie men to sign any further declaration, they having already satisfied theii union.

The Hawke’s Bay representative football team to play Auckland, Manawatu, Horowhenua, and Povertj Bay, left by the Waikaro to-night. They play Auckland on Saturday.
