In connection with the Stounonburg murder trials at Boise City, Idaho, cabled on May 10th, Orchard testified how at Haywood’s instance he and Steve Adams wrecked tlie Providonce railway station in order to prevent a split in the Miners Convention by providing a counter-ex-citement. Twelve or fourteen were killed in that explosion. Later ho asked Heywood for 300 dollars, and Haywood sent 300 through Pettibone, while Adams received 200. Orchard narrated how the murder of a detective was planned by Pettibone, who paid him 100 stenl/ing, Mayer and Haywood paying in connection with tho fatal mine-wrecking, and also with Pettibone paying to kill Steunenberg. They also paid fruitless endeavor to kill the Public Prosecutor for thwarting fihe Western Minors’ Federation plans.
