LOCAL CELEBRATIONS. | Very considerable interest is being noused locally in celebrating the ibove event next week. The actual went to be celebrated is the 50th Anniversary of the Signing of the jo'nl'erred upon New Zealand the unijue privileges she has ever since enjoyed. Elaborate preparations throughout the various dioceses in the •olong are being made for observing die jubilee. The Vestry of Holy Trinity Church Kisborno, are actively engaged in preparing for the great Jubilee Commemoration to be held in His Majecty’s Theatre next Tuesday evening. An attractive pregramme is being drawn up. and everything is pointing to a most successful gathering On the Sunday following Jubilee Day, special Festal Services are to be conducted in Holy Trinity Church of which detailed particulars ivill. he announced in our columns next wee'k.
