A middle-aged man named Ilonr.v Brown whilo blasting rock on the hills in tlio vicinity of Little River on Tuesday sustained painful injuries. Ho had somo doubt as to whether a fuse had properly ignited and ventured out of his shelter to see. Tile explosion occurred when Brown was within a few foot of the blast, and its forco hurled him for a considerable distanco down the hill.
