BESSES 0’ TH’ BARN BAND

The booking of reserved seats at Miller’s has been exceptionally heavy

ALUKT is lias iJLuii uvuvj for the evening anti afternoon concerts to be given here by the famous Besses o’ tli’ Barn Band, whose season commences to-morrow evening at Bis Majesty’s Theatre, where they are to delight Gisborne audiences with some half-dozen programmes in their three nights’ stay. Special matinees are announced, the first of which is to take place on Thursday afternoon, when children will be admitted to all parts of the house at half-price. At Miller’s this morning 3s day sale tickets may lie purchased.

"With a view to correcting what they state to be an altogether wrong impression, Messrs J. and N. Tait intimate that the solo' and concerted numbers will be heard to much better advantage in the theatre than would be the case in the open air. The Besses enjoy the distinction of being a concert band. They give an artistic treatment of the very finest class of music, many numbers of which are rarely found in the repertoire of orchestras or full military bands.
