At ti meeting of the Gisborne Bowling Club it was decided not to close the green at present, and the following games were arranged for Thursday next: —District Shield Matches: West End—(Morgan, Craig, Robertson, Simson), v. AVhataupolio (Bedstone, Corson, Hookey, Martin); West End (R. Crawford, Cussen, Gaiulin, Crawford) v. A\hataupoko (Anderson, WiHindis, Sermon r, Hennessy); Kaiti (Eure, F. and W. Pettie, Ponsford) v. City (E. Lewis, Miller. McGowan, Coleman); .Kaiti (Ambridgc, Harding. Wallace. Nicholas) v. City (Neale, Adair. ,T. Martin, Harris). Champion Singles: Williams v. Bright, Ponsford v.
