S.AY auchop presiding. # ' _ ' ' . ~ On the motion of the chairman it was decided to amalgamate the Iluia and Takitimu clubs, the new district to be called the Talvitiniu district, the colors to be maroon. AUCKLAND, last night. The football season opened yesterday with a match Cricketers v. NonCriclceters. which resulted in a victory for the Non-Cricketers by nine to three. The proceeds will he devoted to the Auckland Cricket Association Coach Fund.
