CRICKET.
A match took place yesterday afternoon between teams selected on the ground. Hallamore winning the toss from Lang sent Gibson and J. Wack in to bat. Wack was soon bowled by Cox for 4. Gorman, after making 13, was caught off Cox. Gibson, after giving a collide of chances, retired for 25. None of the' rest got double figures, and the innings closed for 83. Lang and Sharp went to the wickets, but Sharp was bowled first ball. McConnell was also soon bowled by Wack for 3. McDonald played a good innings for 28 and retired. Turner and Barnaby also made 25 each, and retired. Lang (15) and Cox (15) also played well. The innings closed for 149 runs, Lang’s team thus winning by 06.

Coleman,, Barlow and Broadhurst, Gover and Blackburn, Willock and Evans, Combined Doubles: W. L. Coleman and Mrs. Barlow, Barlow and Miss McCredie, Hawley and Miss F. McCredie, Blackburn and Miss D. Bright, Gover and Miss Adair, R. Willock and Miss A. DeLautour, Evans and IJliss Brown, Broadhurst and Miss Adams. Should any of the above players be unable to take part in the matches, they are requested to let the secretary know at once.
