FLORAL FETE
Tlie General Committee organising the floral fete met at the school. A letter from Mrs Scott, secretary of the Fountain Committee, was read. It pointed out that a monster picnic in aid of the fountain fund was already arranged for Easter Monday, and asked for the kind co-operation of the Floral Fete Committee. In
deference to their wishes tho date of tho loto was altered to Saturday, March 30th, tho only other possiblo date.
Tho socretary roported that tho Racing Club had kindly consented to the use of tho Park for tho fete, anil ho was instructed to writo in reply accepting tho offer and thanking them.
Tlio Programme Committee recommended the adoption of last year’s programme, with some slight alterations.—The report was adopted, and tho programme ns amended is to bo printed and issued forthwith. Tlio secretary was instructed to make arrangements with tho Railway Department as soon as possiblo for special trains to tho Park. After some further details had been arranged tho meeting adjourned.
