HOLY TRINITY CHURCH.

Special services arc to be held in the above church on Sunday next in connection with the Harvest Thanksgivings. The Vicar informs us that these services are among tho most popular and successful conducted in tho church. He invites all residents to assist in making the services on Sunday an equal success. A large quantity of produce of all kinds are needed for decorating the church. Residents are asked to send offerings of vegetables, fruit, flowers, greenery, etc., also maize (green or seed), and all kinds of cereals. All gifts may bo left at the church on Saturday afternoon. Personal help in decorating is also asked. Tho services arc: 8 a.m., Holy Eucharist; 11 a.m., Choral Matins, Eucharist, and sermon; 2.45 p.m., Special Children’s Harvest Service; 7 p.m., choral evensong and sermon. There will be tho usual evening service at 7 o’clock in tho Maugapapa school. Tho vicar invites all residents of Maugapapa to attend the 1 o’clock service in Holy Trinity Church. Tlie choir will load in the special festival music at the various services, and will render a harvest thanksgiving anthem at tho evening service. A special invitation is issued to all members of tho farming community, and also to tho sheepfarmers, to attend. Townspeople and also those from tlie country are asked to be present fit thq Harvest services.
