THE HOSPITAL.
(To the Editor Gisborne Times.;
Sir,—Having carefuUy read Thos. Todd’s lettor in your issue of Saturday last, and also Mr Bourke’s letter in your issue of Monday, it is only fair to Mr Bourko to know a few of the reasons which caused Mr Todd to vincli* cate the impartial management of the institution in the manner in whicii he does Mr Todd is a men of means, Mr Todd was twice in tho Hospital, and was attended bj' ono of the nurses with whom he was keeping J company, up/! w,ho since has become his wife, and it is only natural that he should bo well lookod«|6er, that is if the old hkjgHsk be believed, “ that birds of a feaSßpU flock together,” so that it is only quite natural that they almost killed him with kindness, but Mr Bourke evidently not being aware of wbat caused Mr Todd to write so strongly, after perusing this letter wiH no doubt be more onlightened as to ’his reasons for so doing. One thing is quite evident,, that there should not be one treatment for the rich and another for the poor in a public institution.—l am, etc., Truth,
