A DREAM.

.(To the Editor Gisborne Times,-

Sir, — It might interest some of your readers if I relate a dream I had the other night. I dreamed that I bad a sheep run in a couatry place a few miles outside Waterford, but taking ill I decided to enter the hospital at Waterford. T had scarcely entered this hospital when I fall desperately in lovo with the head nurse, and thereafter you can just imagine, sir, the kind treatment I received, not only from tho head nurse, but the matron and all the othor nurses. Of course I never notioed how others were being treated, nor did I oaro as long as I got the best of attention (whioh you bet I did). Well, I dreamt that in duo time I left the hospital, aod my greatest regret was leaving my lady love behind ; but I determined it would not ,bo for long, so asked her to share my little farm with me, whioh she consented to do. Shortly afterwards a eoandal arose in connection with that hospital I bad been in in Waterford, so you may depend, sir, after getting all the good things I got in that hospital I rose in righteous indignation and wrote a letter to the local paper eulogising the nurses and matroD. I did not (hit k I wss at all biassed ia the matter after tho kind treatment I had received ; but just as my dream was getting interesting I awoke to liar] it only a dream, and it seemsd so realistic toe.— l am, eic. A DREAMER. Gisborne, Die. 17,19Q6.
