PRESS ASSOCIATION Christchurch, last night, The total number of eggs laid in the Utility Poultry Club.’s competition at Lincoln College for tho week ended November 9th was 1978, making a grand total to date of 29,091, The best layings for the week were: Mrs Gordon’s brown leghorns 34, A. J. McEnte’s silver wyandottes 32, A. E. Lawrence’s brown leghorns 32, C. R. Wilson’s black minorcas 32, J. Jackman’s silver wyandottes 81, F, I’rethey’a rose comb white leghorns 31, R. E. H. Evans’ silver wyandottos 40. The highest totals to date are : M. Blanch 584, J. Ashton 540, F. O’Brien 51.2, Mrs Gordon 469, H. Walton 455, H. Pannell 445, J, Jackman 443, G. H. Barnet 415, A. L.
