Noel Buxton, who visited the mountain villages of Macedonia, saw wounded dying after incendiarism and pillaging by Turks and Greeks. He declares the horrors are regularly described by European officers, but their reports are not published. He claims that tlio only remedy forthe present farce will be to give them authority heetofore non-existent.
