[(Special to Gisborne Times.) Wellington, laat night. Tbero was a vole of on the Estimates for experimental trawling. In reply to a question the Minister of Marine said the subsidy was for She purpose of aiding suitable trawlers to go further off the costs of Now Zatsland to thoroughly test the fishing grounds. Tbero were known to be fino fishing banks off the coasts, but private enterprise was not prepared to undertake the cost of the experiments, and if they got a subsidy they might be encouraged to undertake them. Ths idea was to fiod out where olher fishmg grounds existed,
