A Bensation has been caueed in the district by a Maori being stuck up by an armed man at Waihua Hill, on the Napier road, and relieved of his horse, saddle, and bridle. The robber was captured by the police on Sunday. Accused. Leonard Easter, 19 years of age, was armed with a five-chambered revolver pea-pißtol, folly loaded. He attempted to draw it on the police when arrested, but was disarmed, He said he was travelling to town to make it hum, when captured. He intended sticking up siogie wayfarers as they came along. He was brought np «nd remanded for a week. Furtner developments are expected.
