THE SUPERANNUATION BILL, There is an idea in the lobby that the Government will make an effort to put through the Civil Service Superannuation Bill this session. There is also some talk of joining the civil service scheme with thoso of the police, the ieaches-3, and the railway servants, the Government making a lump contribution annually.
ANOTHER SEDDON STATUTE.
Notice lias been given by Mr 11. McKeDzie, on behalf of the Hon. Mr Guinness, to ask tho Premier whether the Government intend to place a sufficient sum upon the Estimates for the purpose of providing and erecting a statue of the late Eight Hon, R. J. Seddon in the Parliament ground or Parliament buildings ?
