It is Bemi-oflioially stated in Berlin that negotiations fob a wireless telegraph conference arc satisfactorily progressing. A convention has been read a first time. It is understood that it will provide compulsory inter-oommuoication of all wireless systems with each other, aud general supervision of wireless telegraph by an international bureau.

The Slate Conference expresses general approval of Sir John Forreßt’a schema to transfer thß State debts, and that the matter stand over for a special conference to settle details.
