THE LAND BILL.

j(Special to Gisborne Times.) Wellington, last nigbi

The Lands Committee will meet tomorrow for the purpose of considering the Land Bill. The Committee will, it is understood, continue to meet every day during the week in order that, if possible, its labors in connection with the measure may be completed in time to permit of its report being presented to the House on

Tuesday of next week. The Minister for Lauds is hopeful of this being accomplished. The debate on the second reading cf the Bill will, in all probability, be taken immediately after the Bill is reported by the Committee.
