THE CHAMPIONSHIPS. PRESS ASSOCIATION COPYRIGHT Received 5.18 p.m., Sept. 9. Sydney, Sept. 9. The Boxing Championships started last night at the National Sports Club. There was a crowded house. A feature of the contests was the defeat of the Queens-, landers, who were beaten in every event. New Zealand was successful in two, Mayze beat Mackay (New South 'Wales) in the light-weight division in four rounds, making it very willing for his opponent. Fro -ize beat Cummings (New South Wales) in the feather weight division in three rounds, while Dickinson (New South Wales), after an excellent contest van. nuished Tracy in the bantam division.
