PRESS ASSOCIATION Wellington, last night. Practically the whole of tbo Taranaki land district is gazetted as an area infected with blackleg. A small block between
Patoa river and the boundary of Hawcra country is treated less stringently than tho remainder in the regulations to prevent the spread of disease. A small portion of
the district east of Patca river is no' included in the infected area. Provisioi is made for the compulsory vaccination oJ cattle, and no young cattle may be removed from infected areas unless they Jj’ave been vaccinated within the preceding xj days, " ' • .
