PRESS ASSOCIATION Wellington, last night. At tbe request of the British Administration of tbe Federated Malay States, tbe President of tbe New Zealand Institute of Surveyors (Hon. G. F. Richardson) has nominated two members of the Institute, Messrs N- F. J. Haezard, of Waihi, and John Mouat, of Gisborne, for appointment on tie staff of the Malay Trigonometrical Survey Department. Offioial confirmation of these nominations has now been received, and the oflioers named will leave immediately to tike up their new duties. There are already ooe member and two associates of tbe New Zealand Institute of Surveyors in the service cf the same Government,
