In tho oourso of ills remarks Mr Mackrell stater that General Booth, tho founder and head of the Salvation Army, is an avowed spiritualist, and but for injuring his usefulness as head of that organisation would declare himsrlf (o ho one. Through your columns, sir, I challenge Ale Mackrell to prove the above allegation?. As tho representative of General Booth and officer in charge of the local corps 1 write this letter, and hope Mr Mackrell will supply me through your columns with tho data which has warranted him making eueh a statement in connection with the religious views held I by Genera!
