Major Dreyfus was invested with the Chevalier’s Cross in the Artillery Yard at the Military Academy of Paris, in the presenoe of two batteries aud a regiment of artillery, and two squadrons of cuirassiers. He reoeived a great reception in the streets. Dreyfus had a serious heart seizure after the ceremony, but recovered.
