THE EXHIBITION.
PRESS ASSOCIATION Christchurch, last night. Tho weekly offioiai review of progress of the New Zealand International Exhibition states that urgent applications for spaoe arc being received daily. Tba High Commissioner cabled on Saturday for 7UO feet for a motor car exhibit, and an application by cablegram for 1200 square feet of spaoe has been received from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for oanned goods and kindred industries. The amended design for the card of invitation to the opening ceremony of tho Exhibition has now been forwarded to Wellington for the Ministor’3 final approval. It is intended to despatch all of the invitations before the 31st iost. The total frontage of the Exhibition in the main building and machinery hall of the Exhibition has now reaohed five miles. Negotiations are in progress with a syndicate to plaoe twelve South Afrioan rickshaws and native pullers in* the Exhibition ground, where they will bo available for hire by the visitors to the Exbibitou.
